The station is located (27.601° N, 82.760° W) on the NE corner of the USCG dock, a wooden structure on piles that extends 50 meters off the north end of Egmont Key into the mouth of Tampa Bay. Data from this station are telemetered via GOES satellite and line-of-sight radio.
